Unique trails betweenArlberg, Montafon, the Engadine Valley, Ortler, the Brenta Dolomites and the lake garda region.

Fantastic downhill single tracks, majestic passes  and mighty altitude differences.

The most beautiful trails in the Alps, the finest maneuvers on bike, unforgettable panoramic views in the high mountains.

Solid bike handling skills are required for this tour – steps, switchbacks, jumps and riding in loose gravel should be mastered.

This tour is technically very demanding! Only a little pushing and carrying the bike.



Day 1Wald am Arlberg - Garschurn 42 km, 3100 hm downhill, 1200 uphill


For the first 900 altitude meters, while spectating out of the gondola, we enjoy the magnificent view of the Alps.

After a warm-up ride, we do a short climbing passage to the summit.

The introduction in the tour is a trail with big boulders and many technical difficulties.

Then the way goes down on old tracks down into the Silbertal valley.

We continue with another cable car to the middle station of the Hochjoch-Bahn in Schruns.

At 2100 meters above sea level at Wormser Refuge (Wormserhütte), we will have our lunch.

An incredible trail brings us down to St. Gallenkirch.



Day 2 Garschurn - Ischgl 48 km, 3300 hm downhill, 1150 uphill


After a short ride in the morning we reach Partenen , where we will board the Vermunt cable car.

In the high mountain regions of Silvretta we cycle to the Silvretta dam lake. Splendid trails lead us down to Ischgl.



Day 3 Ischgl - Taufers im Münstertal 80 km, 3700 hm downhill, 2350 hm uphill


The Ischgl Mountain cable cars have catered to bikers for years and offer a wonderful trail paradise.

From the Heidelberger refuge we push our bikes 300 hm to the Fimber Pass.

A five-star singletrack descent leads us on secret paths down to the Engadine Valley.

The magnificent location of a remote canyon facilitates the 600 hm uphill to S-carl to us.

Optionally you may take a bus.The obligatory cake-break in S-carl will forge the bond of the group and will form a dedicated community.

In this lonely mountain region, we reach a pass called Costainas.

Via finest trails we reach Taufers in the Munster Valley.



Day 4 Taufers im Münstertal - S. Caterina 44 km, 3550 hm downhill, 900 uphill


Up to the high mountain regions of the Stelvio National Park we´ll take a bus shuttle.

An asphalt track winds with 48 switchbacks up to the Stilfser Joch pass at 2800 meters above sea level.

A nice singletrack leads us to a point called Forcella di Forcola situated above the Umbrail Pass.

After a fast descent we reach a cozy refuge for a cappuccino-break at the Lakes of Cancano.

We then enjoy lunch in the historic center of Bormio. Then a cable car takes us up to 3000 m above sea level.

This is the start of nearly 1600 alt m of finest technical singletrack down to S. Caterina, a trail made for intrepid soul-bikers.


Day 5 S.Caterina – Dimaro 71 km, 3500 downhill, 1550 hm uphill


An other cable car takes us to Monte Sorbretta. After a hidden trail a narrow asphalt road winds up to the Rifugio Bonetta on the Gavia Pass.

Fortunately a bus shuttle will take us there. After a fast descent, we turn into a meadow trail heading for the mountain village of Pezzo.

At the end of an old military track we find the Rifugio Bozzi at 2618 m above sea level.

Short and steep it goes up to Forcellina di Montozzo.

Then we experience the perfect singletrack fun down to the emerald lake Lago di Pian Palu.

After a deserved gelato break we ride next to a swift river through the Val di Sole down to the village of Dimaro.


Day 6 Dimaro - Breguzzo 62 km, 2550 hm downhill, 1900hm uphill


Through a cold valley we reach Madonna di Campiglio. Later you can take a cable car to the Passo Groste or ride to riffuge Graffer.

In the dream scenery of the Brenta Dolomites no desires remain unrealized.

The following ride on the Cascata trail requires intense concentration but it is one of the highlights of the week.

A gully-like trail with loose gravel and lots of big roots.

At the end, at a hidden refuge, a yogurt with forest berries awaits us.

On a forest road we reach a mountain lake in the Val d'Agola. On a hot day swimming is recommended!

After a steep uphill passage, we reach the alpine meadows of the bear-pass (Passo Bregn de l`Ors).

On this natural stage, the view opens up to the twelve apostles mountains and the Adamello glacier.

Passing the alp Malga Molvina, we will have a very special trail ahead.

After a fast  downhill and a last short climb, we stay in a typical italian hotel in the mountain village of Breguzzo.


Day 7 Breguzzo - Lago di Garda 60 km, 2800 hm downhill, 1150 uphill


Idyllic and romantic mountain villages are on our way through the Valle di Giudiare.

The last shuttle takes us up to the Rifugio Garda. Than we ride down the mythical mountain biker pass named Tremalzo.

It will be rock´n roll riding down the famous military trail to the Passo Nota.

Garda Lake is within reach. The last dreamlike singletracks lead us down to Riva, where we´ll be welcomed with a Prosecco.

Our farewell dinner will take place at the legendary restaurant of the incomparable Salvatore.


Day 7   Return to Wald at the Arlberg

8 nights accommodation with half board, shower / WC in 3 or 4-star hotels, often with pool and spa.

Farewell dinner with local wine, luggage transportation, cable car and shuttle, riding technique training while on tour, return journey.

Drinks and lunch are not included.

Minimum group size 6 people.
